I Don’t Wanna Fight
“I Don’t Wanna Fight” is Joe’s single, released in May of 2023, showcasing the guitar wizardry of Dan Neale, the freight train drum beat of Noah Levy, and the heavenly pedal steel of Ken Wilson. Recorded at the Kill Room in Minneapolis. Produced by Kevin Bowe.
Still Gonna Try
Joe’s single, released in December of 2022, showcases a fresh sound and progression in his songwriting, moving away from his alt-country rhythms and stories and instead experimenting with the influences of his rock’n’roll heroes and dealing with a badly broken heart. Produced by Kevin Bowe.
Superman
Superman, off of Joe’s 2018 release The Superman EP, is one of the songwriter’s finer pieces of writing. The lyrics are emotional and elaborate, bringing to life the characters and their intertwined journies in life. The music has echoes of late 90s American rock but also features a banjo so as to not lose its country soul.
Go West, Ol’ Charley
Released in 2017 on Joe’s first EP Workin’ Too Hard, the single Go West, Ol’ Charley features The Ramblin’ Mercenaries - Joe Anderson (electric guitar), Jake Anderson (drums), and Dan Neale (lead guitar). Produced by Kevin Bowe (bass, vocals), this banger of a track also showcases Ian Carleton (piano), Claire Williams (vocals).
